nice to meet all Kips lover here

last saturday we found R9 exzos here...how about this exzos?performance...acceleration...pick-up...compare to CMS n HMF...our mechanic told...big chamber suitable for old model like KR where they used 'kips' silinder...but 'super kips' silinder use for small chamber... it's correct?

R9 exhaust ? which model ?? there is three or four model of R9 for KR150 in Indonesia ...
and available both for KIPS and SUPER KIPS
big chamber and long chamber usually used higher rpm peak power , because there is no powervalves in KIPS so that is make sense they make it have a large Expansion chamber , because Super KIPS use a powervalves so the expansion chamber would be slightly smaller by that reason , any way i use a big chamber DBS pipe in a Super KIPS but due the large exhaust by tuning it [ grind it with my hand tuner LoL ] it is pretty impressive , the R9 that my friend install in his KR ZX150 have a nice performance for a long circuit ... maybe some kind like Shah Alam in Malaysia will be nice in R9... and if you ask me about comparation CMS vs R9 vs HMF = my choice is still CMS they use a very good metal to make it , and the owner of CMS is tuning KR150 for almost 1,5 decade ...way back to 1996 i think... so experience wont lie...
