The new NSF250R is unveiled The liquid cooled, single cylinder 4-stroke Moto3 machine, which will replace the current 2-stroke, 125cc bike used in the GP125 class in 2012, inherits important elements from its 125cc predecessor, including a chassis and geometry based on the successful frame of 125cc machine. Improvements over the former class bike are plenty, including titanium valves, a sealed crankshaft, and a dry weight of 84kg. The new machine will be available for purchase at the end of 2011...if got in malaysia sure its going to have great rivalry for the 250Kawa...

Updates on Moto 3 realase for 2012
IRTA will supply eligible teams with a prospectus containing the main conditions of participation. Teams will then have until Friday 1st of July, the first day of the Italian Grand Prix, to submit a detailed application.
FIM, Dorna and IRTA will consider applications at Mugello and selected teams will then be invited to lodge a security deposit with IRTA. The deadline for receipt of the deposit is Friday 12th of August, the first day of the Czech Republic GP.
The final selection of teams will be made by FIM, Dorna and IRTA during the Brno event and a list of accepted teams will then be published.

The NRS250 Honda Prototype was tested in an unnamed track in Japan and it has beaten the track record set by a GP 125 bike... power is said to be at 50-55 rear wheel horsepower with a 130kg weight. Power is looking good even in prototype form. This should be good... even if it's a single cylinder 250, with clever play of cam profiles and engine internals, it has a rev ceiling of 14,000rpms... and that is freaking impressive.

Think of it in a good way ; we are witnessing history in making bro... 30 years from now, we will be telling our sons how 'fast' the first GP250 4 stokers are and they will be thinking 'my damn pocket bike could well beat that...!" Hahahahaha!
